Like the other reviewer, I was skeptical about this purchase. But, I am so glad that I took that leap of faith! While I do not make a habit of teasing my hair to within an inch of its life, I do like to have body at the roots/base of my head and this brush has performed miracles for me! I no longer have to tease it with a hair pick repeatedly and risk breakage . . . this brush is easy to use, has great bristles for grip, and adds an amazing amount of volume with little effort. And the pointed end is perfect for making perfect parts! Love the brush!

I was skeptical that this teasing brush could live up to its description. I have a zillion brushes, how could this one be any different? I'm so glad I took a chance!! The Marilyn T provides a tight, compact backcomb and and it feels much more gentle on the hair than the other combs and brushes I've tried. Well, then again maybe it's just the fact that I don't have to tease so furiously, this godsend of a brush does all the work with amazing results!!!

I have long black hair. This brush has done wonders for me by helping to distribute the oils from by scalp through the rest of my hair, leaving it shiny and healthy. Bristles are firm, maybe too firm for some people, but I love it.

This is the best brush I have ever used. I have full hair that snarls easily, but becomes flat as a pancake if I use a traditional brush.

Mason Pearson has created this miracle brush that easily combs my snarls out and gives me thick, rich hair. It also massages my scalp with each stroke.

PLEASE find a supplier soon!! The detangler is also a wonderful product.

Wow!!! That's what I thought when I first saw the price of these brushes. A model friend recommended these as the best brushes she's ever used, but I wasn't convinced. Though after a month of pondering back and forth, I'm the proud owner of two of these brushes (the Junior and Pocket size). The brushes are soft against the scalp and not hard/pokey like the $8 drugstore brush. Since I already spend a ton on haircuts - I figure I'd invest a little more to make sure my hair gets the best in-between haircut treatments.

I have been using this type of brush since I was 15 years old. I have a delicate scalp and the mixed boar bristle Mason and Pearson brush allows me to delicately brush my hair with a gentle massage without pulling my hair and leaving no static at all. My sister has longer hair and she uses the large size, but myself having a medium length I have been using the pocket size which I treasure in my bag. When I lost mine I got to Amazon and ordered another one and a couple of days later, I found my original one, but instead
of retuning it I will keep it in my closet for the next time I need it.
The money is all worth this fantastic English brush. You will not regret buying yourself one and never want to brush your hair with anything else!
